Drive Technology Group Announces Zoom Business Intelligence
CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 24 // -- Drive Technology Group has announced that it is now
taking orders for its much-anticipated business intelligence product to be released
under the brand name Zoom(™) this Fall. The Web-based Zoom(™) reporting product
comes with a twist that differentiates it from the standard business intelligence
tools serving the automotive retail vertical. Zoom not only gives dealership decision-makers
up-to-date visibility into the health of the dealership, the next release, expected
fourth quarter of this year, will provide employees up-to-date visibility into their
job performance.
The motivation for this, according to Drive Technology Group's President, David
Boatman, is that "... [Drive] wants to provide dealerships with a powerful and easy-to-use
tool that does more than show what happened; we wanted to offer a tool that can
positively impact the performance of all profit centers in the dealership. Zoom(™)
is that tool."
Zoom(™) allows dealerships to define custom performance goals per employee.
Zoom(™) then calculates how the employee is performing by automatically pulling
in the relevant data from the dealership's management system (DMS) via Driveway(™),
Drive Technology's DMS integration product with real-time capability. Employees
are able to log into Zoom(™) to view what their goals are, how they are performing
against those goals month-to- date, and what their projected performance will be
by month's end based on their current trends. This provides the employees with unprecedented
motivational and actionable insight.
Ensuring that the business needs of the dealership are well-served through technology
is important to Drive because as Boatman explains, "Drive Technology Group is a
company founded by people with manufacturer and auto retail backgrounds who understand
technology; our management has years of experience inside the automotive industry.
Our mission on the software and professional services side of Drive is to help dealerships
navigate the highly technical areas of their business with an approach that works
for automotive, Motorcycle and RV vehicle retailers."
